"A 2004 that's really come into its own. Dried berries, leather, cedar and that lovely earthy Bordeaux character. Opened it for a friend who knows wine and they were genuinely impressed."

"Elegant but not fussy. That Merlot softness comes through nicely alongside the cedar and dried fruit. Tried it with roast duck and a mushroom risotto on separate occasions. Both worked."
